I thought today would be a sunny day. The sun was shining early on but it is getting dark now. It looks like we will get some more rain again just like of yesterday. I wonder if we ever get summer this year. I am still thankful though to whatever temperatures we have been getting lately at least we don’t have to deal with snow on the ground anymore.

I am loving the sunny and warm weather we have been getting lately here up north. Now I can say and feel that the spring season is actually here. Yesterday I sat out on our deck for the first time since winter. It felt nice to be able to spend a few minutes outside without freezing. That is good news. There is still some snow on the ground but I think it will melt fast if we continue to have above freezing temperatures. The snow on our roof is hopefully gone for good.

The recent snow storm left us about a foot of snow. My hubby was worried that he might have to plow the drive way again. Fortunately, the sun has been shining and the snow has melted to the point that we can get the car in and out. Hopefully that will be our last snow storm of the cold season. We should not be getting any more snow nor sub zero temperatures but mother nature is something we can’t do anything about.

The last time I spoke with my mother, she said that the lake keeps coming up to their backyard because it has been raining again recently. It was supposed to be the summer dry season there but she said it doesn’t feel like summer at all. That sounds good to me because maybe it will not be so hot when I get there. The problem is that if it keeps raining all the time, I may have a problem with my flight getting in and out of Butuan.

I am finally done doing my laundry. It took me almost a week to finish doing four loads of laundry. It shouldn’t take me that long but since we are having problems with our water drainage system, I had to go slow. Tonight, I need to start folding the clothes. Hopefully, I will finish folding all of them tonight but I doubt it, there are lots of clothes to be folded. Fortunately, I don’t have to iron them anymore.
