My hubby and I currently don’t have any working cell phone plans.  We cut everything but the car phone and our home landline.  We used to have a cell phone that we used mainly for business purposes but now that he is retired, we don’t have much use for one anymore.  Since I work out of our house, I don’t have much use for one either.  What we had before was just the basic cell phone service.  If we were to get another cell phone service, it would have to include a lot more options.

I haven’t tried using the Straight Talk service yet but have read some testimonials that say it can help you cut your cell phone bill in half.  There are no contracts, no surprise bills and no need for credit checks.  I don’t like having a contract and will consider Straight Talk when I decide to get a new cell phone.  Their all-you-need plan has great nationwide coverage, excellent reception and connectivity.  All I really need now is a cell phone that has a good signal while my hubby and I are out on the lake fishing.  If Straight Talk can provide me with an inexpensive and reliable service, they will get me hook, line and sinker.

My hubby and I have been planning on remodeling our home. Currently, our kitchen faucet needs to be replaced. When we get the home improvement project started, I am also thinking about replacing the Undermount Sink. Time is money but money is gold. With the help of a watch, we can easily manage our time. I started wearing a watch at a very early age. I was six years old and in first grade when I started wearing a wrist watch. I learned how to read time before I started going to school. I got this blog about arp headbolts but I did not even know what an arp headbolt was so I asked my hubby if he could help me with this. He is an engineer and has done a lot of work on cars over the years so he knew what a headbolt was but did know what arp stood for. It turns out that he has not had the head off from one of his vehicles since the 1970 Dodge van he owned needed the head gasket to be replaced. My hubby remembers from the last time he replaced the head gasket that it was very difficult to get the gasket and head lined up to get the bolts in. He agrees that replacing the bolts with studs would make head gasket replacement much easier. This would be a real time saver for someone like a mechanic who is constantly replacing head gaskets or heads on many vehicles.

My grill is wearing out. My hubby says that we need to buy a new one soon. Currently we have a charcoal grill and it is sometimes difficult getting it started and keeping the heat consistent. I am considering buying an electric grill next time. I haven’t talked to my hubby about this plan yet but he will probably agree with me, unless he wants to start the fire every time I do some grilling.
